John has been a Board member since April 2016 and also serves as the Treasurer of Connecting Generations. John has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry and is currently an Executive Director in Risk Management at JPMorgan Chase. John received his Bachelor degree at the University of Delaware and his MBA from the University of Maryland. 

Kimberly Beecher 

Vice Chair

Kimberly joined our Board in May 2021.  As a Human Resources professional for 20+ years, she has worked in several industries including Healthcare, Corrections, Communications (Cable and Radio) and Banking.  Kimberly is a US Air Force veteran and graduated from Wilmington University with degrees in Human Resource Management.

Melvin Sarpey

Secretary

Melvin is the owner of Sarpey Realty LLC, a successful Real estate firm in the Tri-state area. A dedicated mentor with Connecting Generations for eight years, Melvin has always had a deep passion for helping others, particularly the youth, and is known for his hands-on approach to guiding the next generation toward success. His ability to inspire, teach, and support others has been a cornerstone of his career. As an influential member of the community, he has worked to give back, empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Melvin joined the Board of Connecting Generations in October 2024, an organization committed to fostering positive change and providing the tools that children need to become emotionally strong, resilient and socially competent individuals who can successfully navigate school and life. He is excited to contribute his experience, leadership, and passion for community development to the board and is looking forward to making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and beyond.

Bonnie Metcalfe

Treasurer

Bonnie has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years and is currently a Fiduciary Advisor at Wilmington Trust in Wilmington, DE.  She has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Wilmington University in Delaware.

Edward F. (Mike) Eaton

Mike has a long history serving Connecting Generations and is excited to rejoin their Board as a member.  He has over 40 years of law experience in both public and private practice.  Currently, Mike is an attorney at a small private practice handling Criminal and Family Law matters.  He received his BA in English from Cornell University and his JD from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.

Anthony Ferguson

Anthony is a diverse HR Leader that brings over 27 years of experience from large fortune 500 organizations, including Honeywell, Nissan, Johnson & Johnson and Merck. He is currently the Head of HR for Merck’s Human Health Commercial US & Global Marketing Division where is his responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives.

Audrey Davis

Audrey Davis has over ten years of direct, supervisory, and administrative experience, and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), certified grant proposal writer, and certified in Project Management – Lean Process. She was a 2025 National Minority Quality Forum 40 Under 40 Leaders in Healthcare honoree and 2025 Aspen Health Fellow. She has presented her work at local, regional, and national conferences, and authored several peer-reviewed academic publications involving faith and healing, as well as health equity in multiple myeloma care.  Audrey completed her undergraduate studies at Carleton College and graduate school at Eastern University. While in the commissioner’s office at the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), she created and managed programs and projects that addressed the social determinants of health, with specialized attention to the intersection of behavioral wellness and health outcomes.

Lauren Kasey

is the granddaughter of CGI founder Robert Kasey.  She currently lives in Northern Kentucky but grew up in public Delaware primary schools, reaping the benefits of having her grandfather ever present!  She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Master’s in Accounting and has worked in the corporate tax space for over 20 years. Lauren is looking forward to contributing to the mission her grandfather built and pushing it forward in its continued growth.  She hopes to lend her financial expertise and leadership skills to the board.

Wade Jones

Wade G. Jones, LPCMH, LCDP, CAADC, CCS is the Executive Director, Alternative Solutions Consulting Group, LLC. He is also the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services System of Care (SOC) Clinical Lead and the Delaware Fatherhood and Family Coalition Statewide Coordinator. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University and his Master of Science in Community Counseling from Wilmington University as well as a Post Master’s Certificate in Child and Family Counseling and a Post Master’s Certificate in Mental Health.

Jennifer Mench

Jennifer Mench joined the board of Connecting Generations in 2023 and has a passion for empowering youth with skills and confidence to be a happy, healthy and independent. Jennifer is a seasoned Product Manager at Barclays with over 30 years’ experience driving  transformational initiatives in the financial sector.  She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management. Jennifer attended public schools in Delaware and recognizes the importance of providing a nurturing environment for students experiencing adversity.  As a mentor, she helps children build resilience, develop problem-solving skills and gain financial literacy.

Jvonne Oliver

Jvonne Oliver is a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Currently serving as the Financial Center Manager of Fulton Bank in Millsboro, DE.

In 2023, Jvonne made the decision to join Connecting Generations with a clear mission in mind: to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and bridge the gap between generations. Through her extensive experience in banking and finance, she is uniquely positioned to contribute valuable insights to the organization’s strategic initiatives and financial management.

In addition to her board responsibilities, Jvonne serves as a resolute mentor for Connecting Generations, providing guidance and support to young individuals within the community. She believes in the power of mentorship to inspire personal growth and development, and she is
committed to empowering the next generation to reach their full potential.
