Cassandra has over 10 years of experience working in education. She has worked as an administrator, life skills teacher, and operations manager in district and charter schools across the state. She played a vital role in establishing three charter schools in Kent and New Castle County through her work as a manager for a charter management organization. Prior to working in education, she worked in public relations, marketing, broadcast, technology and social services. Cassandra graduated from Caldwell University with a degree in Communications/Sociology. She is passionate about education and social service programs for youth. She is excited about the opportunity to work in an organization that allows her to utilize her diverse skill sets to maintain and develop programs to help children develop the skills they need to successfully navigate school and life.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Wade Jones, LPCMH, LCDP, CAADC, CCS is the Executive Director of Alternative Solutions Consulting Group, LLC. He’s a Behavioral Health Services Coordinator for the State of DE and the DE Fatherhood and Family Coalition Statewide Coordinator. He has an Associate Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from DE Technical Community College; BS in Behavioral Science and Masters in Community Counseling from Wilmington University. Wade has certificates in Mental Health and Child and Family Counseling. He is a licensed counselor of mental health, chemical dependency, drug & alcohol, and HIV/AIDS tester. Wade is on the DE Board of Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Professionals.
John has been a Board member since April 2016 and also serves as the Treasurer of Connecting Generations. John has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry and is currently an Executive Director in Risk Management at JPMorgan Chase. John received his Bachelor degree at the University of Delaware and his MBA from the University of Maryland.
Meg Farrugia has been a mentor with Connecting Generations since 2012, and is actively engaged with promoting and encouraging her students to reach their potential. As a small business owner located in Delaware, she is keen to support the community and help to grow creative young entrepreneurs at every level. Confidence, diligence and strong work ethics start in school; every child deserves a healthy support system behind them to achieve their best.
Bonnie has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years and is currently a Fiduciary Advisor at Wilmington Trust in Wilmington, DE. She has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Wilmington University in Delaware.
Rysheema is the Chief Executive Officer & President of RD Innovative Planning. She graduated in 2009 from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor degree in Sociology, and in 2013 graduated with a master’s degree in Sustainable Development/International Policy and Management from School for International Training. Rysheema was elected to Wilmington City Council in January 2017 as a Councilwoman At-Large.
Edward F. (Mike) Eaton
Mike has a long history serving Connecting Generations and is excited to rejoin their Board as a member. He has over 40 years of law experience in both public and private practice. Currently, Mike is an attorney at a small private practice handling Criminal and Family Law matters. He received his BA in English from Cornell University and his JD from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.
Kimberly joined our Board in May 2021. As a Human Resources professional for 20+ years, she has worked in several industries including Healthcare, Corrections, Communications (Cable and Radio) and Banking. Kimberly is a US Air Force veteran and graduated from Wilmington University with degrees in Human Resource Management.
Anthony is a diverse HR Leader that brings over 27 years of experience from large fortune 500 organizations, including Honeywell, Nissan, Johnson & Johnson and Merck. He is currently the Head of HR for Merck’s Human Health Commercial US & Global Marketing Division where is his responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives.
As a 15-year J&J HR veteran, he led large scale organizational transformation initiatives for Global Enterprise Finance, Global Supply Chain within Medical Devices and other complex global strategic programs including Acquisitions & Divestitures. This included leading a full-scale HR integration of a $3.6B Acquisition of Auris Health, a robotic surgery business in CA. Prior to that he served as the global HR PMO leader for a $2.4B Manufacturing Transformation in Medical Devices that lead to the strategic collaboration of Jabil Inc. to deliver the internal manufacturing of 15 facilities in 4 countries impacting 12,000 associates. While at Nissan, he served as the NA Lead for Total Rewards/Compensation helping shape the compensation integration of multiple divisions. Anthony also was the Global Compensation lead and HRBP partner for Global Supply Chain for the Transportation & Power division during his tenure at Honeywell.
Overall, Anthony’s diverse and vast professional experience covers all facets of Human Resources through multiple industries such as Consumer Goods, Medical Devices, Automotive and Pharmaceutical.
Anthony holds a B.A. in Political Science from Montana State University and a M.S. in Human Resource Management from Chapman University.
