Seasons of Respect, a program of Connecting Generations, is a free in-school workshop series designed for fifth graders to help reduce and prevent peer-to-peer bullying. Workshops offer in-class interactive experiences where children at this crucial age creatively learn how to behave with respect toward peers and others, thereby helping them to take advantage of many opportunities that can help them become confident, caring, contributing citizens.
Initially piloted in 2006, this growing program served 1600 students in 10 public schools throughout Delaware in the 2007-2008 school year. We already have 17 school partners for the 2008-2009 year.
