Learn about joining our Board of Directors

Connecting Generations is looking for committed, energetic members who want to serve on its Board of Directors. It is an excellent chance for experienced, dedicated individuals to be part of shaping the future of our intergenerational mentoring and education programs.

The board members of Connecting Generations have articulated the following expectations for themselves:

To review Board meeting materials before each meeting and stay informed about what is going on in the organization and its programs. To ask questions and request information. To participate in and take responsibility for making decisions on issues, policies and other board matters.
To attend board meetings
To participate on at least 1 committee
To participate in special events
To make an annual financial contribution that is personally meaningful
To act in the best interest of the organization, and to excuse myself from discussions and/or votes where there may be a conflict of interest.
To work in good faith with other board members as partners towards achievement of our goals.
