Creative Transitions workshops offer support in dealing with life transitions. These workshops are highly participative and involve group sharing in which a community spirit is achieved and a sufficient level of trust developed to allow people to learn from one another.
Creative Transitions workshops allow adults to:
- review their past to recover the lessons learned about themselves and about life,
- take stock of where they are today in their understanding of themselves, and
- explore options for their future, free of past limitations and restraints, and in a way that will allow them to support the generations coming behind them.
Workshops include exercises that assist participants in gaining insights that will be helpful to them in dealing with their situation. These insights are gained in two ways; by examining their own thoughts and feelings, and by listening to the stories of other people dealing with transitions. At the close of the workshop, participants are invited to confront themselves at a deep level and to consider what baggage they might wish to leave behind as they move forward into the future. Workshop participants are invited to provide feedback anonymously at the end of the workshop.
New programs and workshops will be announced soon.
