Recruitment Tools
Here are tools you can use to recruit new mentors for your mentoring program:
BUSINESS CARD- Tailor this business card, print it on business card stock, and pass it out anytime you talk to potential mentors, providing them with your contact information and Creative Mentoring information.
RECRUITMENT POSTER- Feel free to print this small version yourself, or contact us and we can provide full size posters to you to tailor and post in your school and in nearby locations (i.e. grocery stores, library, community centers). Note: If you are printing this yourself, be sure to choose: fit to printer margins.
BROCHURE WITH TAILORED INSERT- We can provide Creative Mentoring brochures and you can add this tailored insert. After you have personalized it, print it on regular paper, cut it in three pieces, and place it inside a brochure. Let us know if you'd like tailored inserts prepared for you (we will need at least 2 weeks notice).
ARTICLE FOR SCHOOL OR DISTRICT NEWSLETTER- Use this sample article to recruit new mentors; tailor it to fit your program's needs and then send it to the appropriate person in your school or district for the upcoming newsletter.
ARTICLE FOR CHURCH BULLETIN- Use this sample article to recruit new mentors from your local religious or faith group. After personalizing, send this document to a local church or other religious institution for their upcoming bulletin.
MENTOR HIGHLIGHT NOMINATION FORM-Nominate a mentor to be featured on Connecting Generations website and e-newsletter. Let us know about an outstanding volunteer and let us help you show your appreciation.
