The Robert A. Kasey,
Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Connecting Generations
honors an individual(s) who has
distinguished himself or herself through personal growth and
contributions to individual and community development.
This
year's honoree is Maurice Pritchett, a Wilmington native who has

Exemplary Mentor
and Coordinator Awards
For the past two years, Connecting
Generations has presented Exemplary Mentor and Exemplary Coordinator Awards to mentors
and school and business mentoring program coordinators who were nominated by school, business, and
community partners.

This year's Exemplary Awards
will honor mentors and school and business mentoring program
coordinators who have been exemplary mentoring champions.
Winners will be honored during the awards ceremony at Swing Into
Spring on March 13th.
Amanda Kimball of Wilmington is the
volunteer mentor coordinator and mentors herself at
Lancashire Elementary
Marc Ward of Nottingham mentors 3
students at Shue-Medill Middle school during his lunch from
Bank of America
Delores
Sebastian of Middletown mentors at Townsend Elementary
School
This award is given on the basis of the following criteria: a mentor who has
mentored 7 or more years; a mentor who mentored 10 or more children;
or a mentor who has gone above and beyond the call of duty by
consistently demonstrating a measure of support and guidance that
far exceeds the basic requirements of a mentor.
Ivan Neal is the district-wide
mentor program coordinator for the Indian River School
District and is currently mentoring 5 students in grades 1 -
9
Nathan Palkovitz is the guidance
counselor and mentor school coordinator from Linden Hill
Elementary School in Wilmington
This award is given on the
basis of the following criteria: a coordinator who manages an
outstanding mentoring program in terms of the number of mentors who
have been involved over many years or a coordinator who has gone
above and beyond the call of duty by consistently demonstrating
outstanding support and guidance to the mentors in his/her program.
Allan Colleta from Siemens Healthcare
Diagnostics is a mentor at Brader Elementary School
This award is given on
the basis of the following criteria: a coordinator who has
initiated a successful recruitment effort over the years or
a coordinator who is a strong advocate for mentoring in the
workplace.
Seasons of Respect Champions
For the first time, we will
present awards to School Counselors who have given extraordinary
support and assistance to the Seasons of Respect program. This
year's honorees are:
