This January in honor of National Mentoring Month, Connecting Generations is hosting the third annual “Mentoring Works” Summit. Last year was a fantastic success with over 150 mentors statewide coming together to strengthen mentoring in Delaware. By encouraging involvement and participation by all stakeholders, we aim to cultivate mentoring as a vital way to help young people succeed in school, work, and life. The summit will begin with networking and a light breakfast, followed by three workshop opportunities. There will be a variety of 45 minute sessions ranging in topic and intended audience. The day will end with an innovation fair, delicious lunch, and keynote speaker presentation. The summit will adjourn at 2:00, leaving all who attended with a higher, stronger mentoring purpose and a statewide support system to assist their efforts in improving the lives of Delaware youth!
